Valley Museum/District Building Electrical Rehabilitation Project Information Meeting Today at 10:00 am

There will be a Project Information Meeting for the Valley Museum/District Building Electrical Rehabilitation Project at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 6.  We initially meet in the building lobby, and if necessary, move to a more appropriate space, depending on attendance.

During this meeting we will explain the project goals, the project schedule, the rehabilitation process, and what the building tenants can expect over the next several months, and we will then attempt to answer as many questions was we can.

GIS Day Today

Come to the El Portal Large Breakroom at 11 am on Wednesday, December 6th to participate in Yosemite's annual celebration of GIS Day. This is a worldwide event that takes GIS technology out of the lab and brings it to the people. Here at Yosemite, the GIS program has been doubling down on data quality in 2017, and they're all set to unveil a whole suite of quality control measures that will make datasets more valuable to you, the end user. You'll also get new information about mobile app development, how to tailor Web GIS for specific audiences, GIS insights from the 2017 fire season, and a sneak peek at the Mariposa County GIS. After the presentations, get some hands-on experience at individual demo stations, and enjoy some globe-themed refreshments, including an always-memorable  "GIS cake". Open to park staff.  (K. Hastings)
